Bronze Glass Elevator Cab Renovation in SoHo

A full interior renovation of a passenger elevator cab in a landmark SoHo building, bringing a warm, gallery-quality material palette to a small, high-traffic space.
The Brief
The building ownership wanted the dated cab interior transformed into a refined, luxury space in keeping with the building's SoHo character, using rich metals and glass while meeting elevator code and durability requirements.
Our Approach
We combined Bendheim bronze glass with hand-finished metalwork and concealed cove lighting to make a compact cab feel warm and expansive, coordinating fabrication and installation to minimize downtime for the building.
The Result
A striking, low-maintenance cab with a warm bronze glow, oxidized bronze fronts, and a tactile leather-wrapped handrail — a durable, high-end finish that elevates the arrival experience on every floor.
